Google’s review rules, and how we keep you inside them
More reviews is only worth it if they stick.
Google removes reviews, and sometimes whole profiles, when businesses collect them the wrong way. The system is built so you cannot accidentally break the rules.
No review gating, ever
Review gating means asking "were you happy?" first and only showing the Google button to the happy ones. Google banned it in 2018. Every customer we contact sees the same invitation and the same Google button, full stop. Unhappy customers also get a private feedback route, but the Google option is never hidden from anyone.
Steady pace, not floods
A profile that jumps from 3 reviews to 80 in a weekend looks bought. Past-customer invites are drip-fed a few a day so growth looks exactly like what it is: a good business finally asking.
No incentives
We never offer discounts or prizes for reviews, and neither should you; Google treats paid-for reviews as fake. A well-timed, personal ask does not need a bribe: that is why this works.
